This is great to acclimate to the bike and it’s handling. You ride amongst bikes and walker for the first few miles. We did leave out on the trail towards 17 mile drive. If you want to be hard core, leave it off or on the lowest setting but some help up the hills is pretty awesome! We are on vacation so why wear ourselves out struggling up hips or maneuvering through traffic on the trails. We like the Ebikes because you get a little boost when you want it. The staff was very knowledgeable snd helpful with outfitting myself, wife and daughter. We rented 3 RAD Ebikes for a self guided ride up 17 mile drive. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers.
